Making a hemostat in 3D StudioMax

Success! I have finally finished modeling a hemostat in 3DSmax. This project took a lot of redoing and numerous occasions arose where I had made a mistake and had no idea HOW it happened. Although our tutorial instructions for making this model were fairly clear, this software has so many sub-menus that simply applying one effect can change multiple aspects of an object. I tried to be as accurate as possible…I am pretty sure that if a hemostat was engineered based on this model, it would work properly. It does not have any texture/material on it, nor have I put any lighting in but …anyway enough talk…here it is:
